You're the best one here and I needed that stuff to convert dvds and other video files to be compatible with the V. I've read most of the threads, but I would appreciate if you can send me the sites for all the downloads I'm gonna need to fully use this phone. Thanks for answering most of my questions already.

If you are talking about converting already ripped DVD movies that are currently in DivX or Xvid or another codec, then all you need is ImToo 3GP Video Converter 3. This handy app will encode your vid clips and/or movies down to a small 3g2 format that the V can read...
Now if you are talking about ripping DVDs from disc to harddrive THEN to the phone, you will have to check http://www.videohelp.com first before you can send ANYTHING to the phone ...
SO, in summary:
1- If already ripped, use ImToo 3GP Video Converter to encode your videos to 3g2 format
-or-
2- Rip/compress the DVDs to your hard drive first, THEN use #1 ...
