can you download AIM with the full buddy list on it like the side kick and not that crappy get it now aim with like 30 buddies? if so when i send a message what kind of message would it be under would be it verizon ro verizon texts or what

I've heard some very evil thing that Verizon does with Bluetooth, disabling some of it's features, and I currently have another phone that is Bluetooth enabled, and what I want to know is if anybody knows whether or not my phonebook can be wirelessley transmitted to the 9800, if I decide to get it.

I'm a n00b to all this but I have a D-Link Bloothooth Adapter which I have paired with my VX9800 but I can not figure out have to transfer pics or mp3... do you have to have a DSMini card and/or cable instead of Bluetooth??

I have had three smart-phones and am looking for the features of a smart phone but with better reception. Up to now all of my smart phones have been much better Hand Helds than phones. So with this decision made, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the reception has been on the new LG 9800. It seams as close to a smart phone as I can get, I just hope it is a great phone, phone.

Quickly lock your phone without stepping through the menu's. The phone's Lock Mode Quick activation procedure is to open the flip to the keyboard. Press and hold the "x" key 3 seconds. Page 18 in the owner's manual is not correct for the Lock Mode Quick Activation procedure. De-activation as normal.

The Jabra C120 is a lightweight stereo headset designed for both stereo devices and mobile phones. It has a 2.5mm connection (and an adapter for 3.5mm connections) it fits easily into the 9800. While the connection is tight, it still has a small gap where the headset connects. It has a nice microphone which picks up your voice crystal clear. It has LEFT and RIGHT ear buds and comes with three different sizes of plastic in the ear plugs and one set of foam ear pads (my was missing from the package).

This headset works perfectly with the LG 9800. My calls were crystal clear and a bit strange as the sound of the call is dispersed between the ears...you hear your caller in the center of your head. The sound for telephone calls was VERY loud....

Just curious if Bitpim will work with the 9800 since it's a new phone??????????????? If so, what version would you have to use?

I have been trying to connect my 9800 to my PC via Bluetooth for the past 3 days.
I tried everything, but unsuccessful.
I am desperate, please help!

I have 15 days to try everything out,
before i have to own it.
Mobile Yahoo doesn't see it.
Bit pim doesn't see it.
I don't foresee all avenues to be open in one week to help me evaluate this device.

So i dont recon i will turn it back because the support group is not up to speed.

This phone has all the beginnings of a very cool piece of equipment. I will stay tuned to the folks who have more time to reseach the possibilitys. I sure would like to print the facts (messages), that are informative but seems to be a tuffy.

I see the headsets available through Verizon that are posted on verizonwireless.com, but does anyone, employee or otherwise, know ALL the BT headsets available directly from Verizon? I thought there were more than that and I thought I had seen a Plantronics behind the ear one w/ eargel and extended mic awhile back. Could you please list ALL BT headsets I could get directly from Verizon? I've called CS, but they keep telling me about the handsets they have that have BT or just plain not getting what I am asking. I didn't think it was such a difficult question. Anyway, if anyone could tell me I would love you for it!

i have been actively searching this phone on ebay the lowest its goin for is 430 but there is a new auction where this guy wants only 300 for it under a highlighted auction im about to bid on it but people are warning me it could be a scam could anyone have some input on this and possible check out the aucton the ebay item # is 5628315626 any input would be appreciated thanks

Sending PIX and FLIX messages to people's email address are you charged out of your NOT IN message allotments (50, 250, 500) or do other charges apply?

Also along those lines, say you send one pict, but you put in five email address -- are you charged for ONE message or FIVE?

does this phone have the full aim buddy list like the side kick? and if it does the ims that u send on it ..are they verizon to verizon or do they count outside that in nextworking

I saw this where you compare the phone and the 9800 not have ringer id, I assume this means you can't give all your frinds different ringers, well that stinks.
