Motorola L6

hi all

coming to an L6 from a sonyeric z520a and i'm finding the L6 a bit difficult to navigate. is there a way to change the ringer style and/or message 'ringer'? TIA

I just bought my new L6 Moto on Ebay like a couple weeks ago. Then I try to recieve a pix message it doesn't work ! So I'm like okay can I atleast send pix messages? And that did'nt work either ! It always says error sending message. I have full service and everything and it's not blocked on my Cingular acount. Help, Please !

why in the world would they release a phone of this type with an stn screen????????????? it doesn't make sense? and only 128*160??? what was moto/cingular thinking??????

Ok,I'm looking at this phone on ebay and wanting to purchase it but I have a quick question. Does it have voice recording? My last phone was a Nokia 6102 and it had a feature that allowed me to record anything for as long as 5 minutes. Does this phone have that feature??

hi, i bought today my own new L6 and i want to ask, how to do lower or higher sound when listening mp3 (mid etc.)? and where i can get drivers 4 it cuz i have cabel? and tell me more bout memory cards, or just five link bout it. well if i will remember more questions about that (cuz i wanted to ask many more questions but i forgot it) i will write. 🙂

Good afternoon guys. Can i put MP3 songs to my motorola L6? How?

I just got my phone off of ebay and it is not getting the reception I would like it to have. I go into a building and I loose service. My calls are blotchy and cut off. How do I fix this? Does anybody know how to setup the network? I just got this phone and put in my sim card, is there something else I should do to help get better reception? I live in Austin, TX.

I just bot 2 of these quad band phones. It didn't occur to me they would have a crippled voice dialling system.
My 4 y.o. SEr520m has room for tons of entries. The Moto V330 a friend uses has at least a dozen stored.
The L6 limits you to FIVE! Before I took a loss on at least one of these phones (can do w.o. VD on the other) - is there any work around to add more VD slots? There is a ton of wasted memory for pics, sounds, video that i'll never use.

Ok. I really want to buy this phone. But, I have no idea where I can buy one. I am currently with Cingular and I cannot upgrade for another 9 months. And I really don't want to buy the phone for $250 from them. Does anyone know where I can buy one cheaper then that and with a 850/1800/1900 band or quad band (850/900/1800/1900) it would be great if anyone can help. Thanks.

I know how to adjust the ringtone volume and the volume of a conversation in your ear. But can you adjust the volume when you play back a video you shot, or the volume when you're playing a song prestored in the phone (like Rock Me)? My kids love to shoot videos and play them back, and also to play the songs. But the volume of these is very loud and it would sure be nice to be able to turn it down a little. Thanks.

I recently bought I motorola L6. Battery life is supposed to be relatively good, however I have to recharge it every 36 hours (I never turn the phone off) and I do not talk a lot. Is there a long life battery available on the market.

Whats the difference?

Does anyone have a successful sync story with Outlook on Exchange Server? All I want to do is sync my calendar. 🙂

I know on the RAZR, SLVR, V551 and V557, you can sort the address book view by "list" When doing this, you can see the NAME and NUMBER of each contact --- not just the name. Now, on my L6, I cannot seem to find a way around this. I only have View: Name and Sort by: All Contacts. No, view by "list."

Does anyone know if there's a way to work around this???? Thank you.

Ok, maybe I'm just missing something here, but I can't figure out how to make a call with voice dialing. I've figured out how to record the name, and it saved and everything is good there, but I can find no info on how to actually make the call.

I figured it would be one of the 2 buttons on the side of the phone, but those just activate the camera and video recorder.

Can anyone enlighten me on this please? 🙄

I just got the Motorola L6. According to what I have read you can put 6 phone numbers under each name. I can't figure out how. Everytime I try to add a cell, home and work, it adds the name 3 times to the address book rather than adding the name once and having 3 numbers under the name. Can anyone help me???

So I got a new battery and now it works, but I don't think the charger works. You see, there is no special "charging" screen.

What does your l6's screen display while charging? Mine pretty much stays the same...:/

Does anyone have the CD software fro the L6? Mine dodnt come with it.
