This phone looks amazing, i've been reading up on it for a while now. I was thinking about getting the LG 8100 but would wait for this phone(i prefer samsungs). I was wondering if anyone has heard of a release date and what kind of pricing even tentatively?? The LG seems to be pretty decently priced around 150$

thanks 😁

If you dont end up waiting for this phone go for the E815 over the 8100, many people have been switching from the 8100 to the E815...just my opinion

the only thing that would make me want to pick the 8100 over the e815 is the fact that me and many other people i've know havent had good experiences with a variety of moto phones which would make me hesitate to buy even the top of the line phone by moto!

thanks 😎

This phone will be well over $150 with a 2 year contract. I'm thinking $300-350 with a 2 year. But.... just in time for Christmas! Pure speculation, but it just makes sense.

I hope Verizon doesn't **** with this phone. They could crank their Karma by releasing this phone wide open. Like, hotdog down a hallway style.

hmm definately good speculation BUT the phone says that it is SUPPOSEDLY supposed to be out during the 3rd quarter...wouldnt that make it due out by september? 300$ for the phone wouldnt be too outrageous espically if verizon doesn't block the features on the phone!!

thanks 🤣

Third quarter would imply anywhere between July 1 through September 30.

I am in the process of returning two 8100s - too many problems (although I believe in time they will be decent phones). I considered the 815 but they too have many problems PLUS they are not made well. Six months from now - perhaps a year - all of these 815s will be taking turns getting serviced. Me: I think the 970 is worth waiting for - I just hope it's not released until it's been thoroughly tested; afterall, we don't need an addition to the 8100/815 fiasco!
