How do I get my external Screen to preview the camera when i am about to take a picture
I have been searching endlessly...
When I enable my camera, I want the external screen to show exactly what the camera is picking up so I can take pictures of myself and other people and ensure the picture will be OK.
Any Help is greatly appriciated.

Hold-down the button on the right side of the phone for 1 second while the phone is either open or closed.
If it is open when you do this, close the phone. Easiest method is to just hold down the button with it already closed.

the only thing that happens when the phone is closed and you press the right side camera button is the front diplay shows the date and time. no picture from camera.

With the phone closed, first hit any button to get the display to come on. Then, hold the right side button down for about 4 seconds with the phone still closed. The Camera will activate.
Unless you have a defect of some sort.. I just now did it with mine to be certain and it works fine.
