I just got the a950, not sure what I think. Does anyone know of a way to configure the phone to accept my personal WMA music files as ringtones? If not does the Moto e815 perhaps support that? A950 vs E815? Any opinions?

You can't make the music files ringtones, but you can e-mail clips to your phone (same with the 815) to: [email protected], then save the sound to MY_SOUNDS and from there you can set it as a ringtone.

Thanks, I tried to send a clip to myself with no luck. Does it need to be in a format other than WMA?

Ya, I got it to work with a short .wma file, but when it gets to my phone, it is distorted and quite un-listenable. Do you have a good technique? Thank you much.

send it as .mp3, phone will convert it to .qcp.
