Sending MP3/Ringtone to Razr V3c

I have the Razr v3c for verizon. I was wondering how I can send an MP3 or a ringtone from my E-mail address to my cell phone. If that doesn't work, how do i send an MP3/ringtone to my phone?

You can send it to your phone from email as an attachment to your [email protected]

Oh and if you change the file extension from .mp3 to .mid it sounds a whole lot better.
