Motorola RAZR V3c
Gboys I have a question
The reason why I ask this is because your so happy with the VZW/LG UI system.. I feel that if you owned a Motorola before you would be right along with everyone else.
I was an assistant manager for VZW until last month when I parted with the company.. This UI thing is very big deal to VZW and to its consumers.. You are right the VZW UI is very easy & will be on every new phone from this point on so we should all get used to it if we plan to stay on VZW, but you have to understand coming from a moto menu system the UI lacks so many things. Most people in this forum and that a upset about the UI have owned a moto. The moto UI gave people full customization you were able to change pretty much anything, as examples you could reorder the menu anyway you wanted and then choose if you wanted it in list or icon based. another big thing is that you can remap keys to the spots that you liked, then with the E815 moto took another big step allowing us to be able to "skin" our phones. Skinning allows you to pretty much change the complete look of the phone, such as making the inside any color you want change where the icons are on the screen and even what the clock looked liked its very cool stuff.
You have to understand that with this new UI we loose all of that the only thing we gain is Airplane mode... Its not fair from a consumer stand point that we are forced with this UI.. it should be consumer choice.. if you want the easy UI you buy a LG is you want more customization you buy the moto or a different brand its not that hard...
All I'm asking is please try a moto phone with the moto UI and compare it to the VZW UI even though the moto UI isn't as user friendly its much more customizable and thats why people are complaining so much
PS the E815 will be my last phone with VZW if I can't get a standard moto UI on any new phones with VZW.. its not the color or the layout that I care about its just the simple fact I can't make the phone be the way I want it to be.. and on another carrier I can.
