OK, After reading posts here and at Howard Forums I am oulining how to get MPT to work on the razr v3c. I Have Windows XP Professional.
First: The verizon v3c is NOT supported with version 3.28 of MPT. BVRP the makers of MPT state this in their support forum. They state that it will be 'somewhat' supported in version 4.xx of MPT but will still not support Multimedia Center because verizon has disabled this feature (I wonder why?).
So here is how to still get it to work.
1. Download and install BVRP's Driver Tool.

2. Install MPT version 3.28 (If you have an earlier version run live update - I had 3.23 and had to run it twice to update it first to 3.25b and then again to 3.2😎

Yes, this has worked for some people but not all. I set it to the V3 at first, as my instructions said, but my multimedia center was greyed out as it has been for many. Don't know why that is, but these instructions are for people whom it did not work for. If the V3 works then obviously you do not have anything more to do.

Yes, I originally set it for the V3c. Interesting that in the skins they do not have a V3c but just a V3.
Also, I now remember how to change the phone. Go to setup/General setup/communication/change modem.

Yes all you need to do is choose the V3 and the skin will be a razr and multimedia will be activated

Im just a little new here, what exactly is MPT and what does it do?
If it is what I understand it to be, does it enable you full access to all the data that is on your phone? What Im looking for a way to delete all the crappy pics and ringtones that is preloaded ontot the phone to free up some room. Is there a way to do this?
