more razr problems- help!
unfortunately im another one of the unlucky ones with this phone. My first razr had the time lag problem but luckily verizon replaced it no problem. Now my keypad feels flimsy and rattles and my side buttons (volume, spkr and command) all rattle too!!! My phone sounds like its falling apart and its a week old! I dont know if i should keep returning this phone until i get one without any problems or if i should just get a new phone (but which one?!) i just dont feel like this razr is going to last two years of college and i dont have the money to replace it early!! Has anyone experienced these problems and what did you do???? I have only talked to razr owners who have cingular and t-mobile service (which i know is a different phone) but they ...

what do you mean you returned the phone to fix the time lag?? I have the same problem but was told the sofware needs to be updates to fix the "glich" and noone knows when the update will be out.

yah mine felt a lot like yours did. I payed full retail and decided it wasn't worth the money. I swapped it for the nokia 6256i. Doesn't look anywhere near how good the razr does but it is very feature packed. 😁

Well, if it makes you feel better, I went through 3 different razr phones, until I decided that it was a piece of garbage, so I ended up with the 815 model, it works great. No problems.

I was very happy with my 8100 but gave in and got the RAZR last night because it was "new and exciting", well, needless to say, I didn't need 15 days! It went back this morning and I am now happily using my 8100 again. I'm glad I tried it, though, because I kept thinking I was missing out on something great, but now I know I am not. It felt so cheap all over, IMO. They keypad was loose, front screen worthless, menu button placement horrible, lag trying to do anything in the menu, no font option, ummm....I know there's more, but that's just a few off the top of my head.

hey justaphone...i dont know who you talked to at vzw but i think you need to go back there. tell them that your time is lagging and that it is unacceptable which it is. this problem is subject to a few phones not all of the new ones. they should give you a knew one like they did for me. Try stretching the truth a little i.e. you woke up and your clock said 8 am but it was really 11am and you ended up late! that is what actually happened to me!
