Can someone please give me a basic walkthrough?

It all depends on the Bluetooth device you are using. You need to follow the instructions included with your BT USB adapter. Most though, after installed, prompt you to turn on discovery of your device, which is done by going to the BT settings on the phone, then gives you a passkey which your phone will prompt you to enter, then it connects.

Ok, this helps a little, but before all of this, what is the software thingy I have to get? phonetools or mobiletools...something like that?
I have a usb cord that goes from my phone to my pc, and when I plug it in it recognizes it as a motorola v3c but I cant access it - it doesnt show up as a seperate drive or anything.
