NewB to razr v3c

Hi guys~ I just got my razr yesterday and wanted to ask you some questions that I have.

I read lots of posts and installed the MPT and the driver, but for some reason, the phone does not even connect to the pc.

Is it the driver or is my phone blocked?

The steps that I took was: I installing driver and the MPT(with fully updates to ver3.2😎 I plugged in my razr with a USB cable that came with my MP3 player. When I plug it in, a sound comes out of the razr and says "Unauthorized Charger" and when I press "OK" nothing happens. I think it just charges the phone.

I am not sure what's wrong with this and I need lots of help on this.

I havent had a chance to hook up my pc with MPT - where did you get it?

anyways, I think its your cable. I had a cable from my blackberry and it said "unrecognized charger" but the one from my sony digital camera my pc recognized as "Motorola v3c".

I couldnt access the phone as an external drive but my computer did recognize it. I need your MPT and you need my cable I think, haha.

where did you get MPT and how much?

Thanks Greyboy, I re-tried it with my cable from my cannon digital camera and it worked nicely.

The MPT I bought it from a website but can't remember.
