Vibrate function overriding ringtone

When I switch to vibrate mode it works fine for normal calls, but when someone calls me who I have a specific ringtone set for it still rings. Isnt the vibrate supposed to override that and just vibe? If not how do I make it vibrate when I dont want it to ring out loud? Becuase Im sure not gonna go in to each individual contact and change the ringtone to a vibe when I want it temporarily quiet.

go to setting&tools-press 2 for sound settings-press ring styles-click on style press vibrate only and ok-then go to viberate details and scroll down to ringer id and press ok and then select off and that should do it.
