I have been reading through the forum here and I have the following comment (for what its worth). I guess it is important to hear if people have a problem with the razr so those of us who have the same problems can see if it is just isolated or a common problem, but it seems that people keep harping on the problems. I would assume that they just turn the phone in (if they are under 15 days) and then get a different phone and go on to those forums (that does not seem to be the case with many). I also find it interesting that many people have changed to the razr from the E815 or the 8100 or other phones that are not very old, which I guess I don't understand for many reasons. I think the majority of the people who have the phone like it, an...

Yeah I like that idea. Walkthroughs are nice instead of links to HoFo. I only think that because I am registered here and not at HoFo and I dont feel like registering at another place...therefor I cant post questions or comments.

about the phone, Ive been very happy with mine. my only complaints are:

1) not crazy about the new UI - I like motos more
2) no transflash slot - BIG slip up imo
3) transferring files is a pain in the a$$ - having to get a copy of Mobile PhoneTools or whatever, which I still havent done
4) The lack of customization on the home screen (see #1)

With exception to those, the phone has been great. Looks great, sounds great, battery is good etc... Im definately keeping mine, Id much rather have this than ...

I agree with most of what you say. I love the phone too. I guess we have to put up with UI as Verizon is going to put this on all phones. I don't mind it too much but hope they speed things up when they come up a software upgrade. I also agree about the the home screen, I don't know why we can't change both the outside and inside screens without having to hack the phone. I think the next version of the phone will have itunes playing capabilities which I don't find very attractive as I already own an ipod.

I agree, I can live without the itunes capabilities. I have a Nano, and I basically only use it at the gym and on airplanes/trips. I dont really need my phone to play tons of MP3s. a few mp3 ringers is cool - but I dont need it for a source of music.

I forgot to mention, the camera takes a decent quality shot too. it looks so-so on the phone, but when you send it to yourself in an email and you view it on the computer, its pretty good! (granted you have good lighting and stuff).

that damn home screen gets under my skin though - not being able to get rid of those red bars, or atleast change them depending on the color scheme chosen. oh well...I can live with it - the phone is cool
