This question has been posted many times yet I have not really received alot of responses. Could someone give me input on which phone is the clear and better choice? My sister has the e815 and so far, she only has the echo rarely, although she uses a headset OFTEN! Maybe the echo is mostly without the headset? I own a LG 6100 and I constantly hear a beeping (low and high beeps) when the phone is turned on low. NOW, my sister has her phone turned all the way down and she is coming in very loud which makes me put my phone on low. Will I have problems conversing with her if I have an e815 and she also does? Please any input would be great. Verizon just dropped the price of the e815 today!

815 reception is comparable to the RAZR, as far as echo, it has been reported on the 815 AND the RAZR. There are also a lot more problems with the RAZR then there is with the 815. Another thing is the UI: 815 has MOTO's, RAZR has Verizon's. If you want all the extra stuff also, like memory card slot, MP3, etc. then the 815 would be the better choice.

RF is about the same but the echo on the 815 is really bad when using bluetooth( almost as bad as the 8100). I use the HS500 on my razor and it's perfect. As for problems between the two...it's all opinion. Do not get swayed by opinions in this forum...try it yourself. This UI subject is just flat out comical! I told myself I wouldn't comment on it but I can't resist. I have had the Alltel version of the razor and now have the Verizon version. When it comes to the UI, I could care less about either one of them. Each menu takes time to get used to. Once you have used either one for a bit, it's all second nature.
In summary...the call quality in my opinion is much better on the razor then the 815(yes, I had one for quite a while and...

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I almost completely agree with ferndog on his answer!
