Do you have MPT? What phone is your old phone that you are getting rid of.

If you have MPT installed and plug your phone in to it, you should be able to go the "Multimedia Studio" section and transfer them to your computer. Then when you get your RAZR, you can plug that in, and transfer them from your computer to your RAZR.

your question is way too vague

Oh ok, gotcha. Do you already have MPT (Mobile PhoneTools)? If not, go to this link I posted a few weeks back. it will link to step by step directions to connect your phone and pc via MPT.

Ok, Im going to give you step by step directions because nobody gave them to me and it bothered me alot 🙂

1. Check which version you are running. If you are running anything less than 4.0 then update.
- To find out which version you are using - choose the menu from the picture of the e815m in MPT - then go to help.
- if you are using a version less than 4.0 - go to the menu again, and chose setup, update. run through the update with its default settings

2. Ok, go to the menu again, Setup, General Setup ...

3. Chose the "Communication Tab"

4. Click the "Change Modem" button

5. Click Next, Next again

6. Now check the box that says something like []Do not automatically look for driver. select from list

7. Choose...

by the way -

when you update it may not be the latest version 4.0+ ... so you may have to update 2 or 3 times ... just keep repeating that same process until you have 4.0 or better.

Click on menu then help and you should have version 4.0.4b. I just saw this thread and followed the direction exactly and it works.

Thanks Greyboy!
