Windows Mobile 5.0 - Is there a TASK MANAGER ??? (im new please help!)

Just got my 8125. This is my first pocketPC and my first version of windows mobile 5.0.

I don't know what I am doing!!!

To close a program I have been clicking the "x" in the top right corner. BUT a friend showed me that under "settings"-"Memory" I had about 25 programs running and he said it made my phone SLOW...

is there a task manager to see what programs are running? ALSO - what is the proper way to shut down a program then?


ADDITIONALLY:

I know XP front/back - is there a way to view the registry for windows mobile? I think one of my programs hijacked my phone. When I open my keyboard - OPERA browser opens and there is NO setting for anything like this int he program - additionally i have uninstalled it and it sti...

I heard about and download free program called Magic Button. It is pretty decent and allows you to shut down programs and switch between.

Go to Start->Settings, then go to the System tab and click on Memory. Go to the Running Programs tab and you can see all of your open programs, along with closing or switching to any of them.

It's a bit out of the way, but it's there for you.
