Yes - It will work right out of the box with no additional card.
They say the device has 128mb. I have to assume that is prior to loading the OS. Mine shows 47mb available for actual user storage. After loading GoodLink and a view simple spreadsheets and a couple MP3's, I have 8MB left on the device... Hope that helps.
