I learned from the forums how to get my wifi working flawlessly by changing a few settings. I tried using cingulars network immediately after with the same settings but turned off the wifi on my com manager.

When i connect to the net using cingular it changed from GPRS (on the old settings) to GPRS APN...i was wondering what the exact differences are if anyone can help

Sorry, must have missed this post. The difference I've noticed so far, the Cingular GPRS connects through Cingular's proxy. Letting you connect to Media Net's home pages and all that jazz. The Cingular APN, uses the straight interent and I've noticed if you type "http://device.home" it won't pull up cause you're not on the proxy. I could be totally talking greek here or not know what I'm talking about but that's the main difference I've seen so far 🙂
