Can someone tell me if a bluetooth that my friend gave me from his Verizon phone will work with my MDA!?

It should. Blue tooth is a Universal Standard that the Wireless carriers don't control. Any Blue tooth from any carrier should work theoretically on any phone that is blue tooth capable.
