Rom Update for the 8125 PPC
I'm curious as to what exactly will the ROM update fix. Will it make it run smoother? Will it make small changes like th epicture size when someone calls. Just curious. 😲 😳 👀

The official ROM add the Messaging Security Feature Pack. Basically it adds push e-mail support. It will also fix a problem with some phones that tend to search for signal a lot.
Some of the hacked ROM updates add A2DP which is stereo bluetooth support. They also take out some of the branded apps and put in some hacks to make it run faster.
You can use either of them. It depends on if you want to use an official or a hacked copy.

are the ROM updates working. I spoke to HTC and they said there were issue's with the ROM updates causing lock ups on the phones.

I don't have any problems with mine. I have teh Cingular 8125 with the newest Official Rom.
