Here is the scoop on purchasing this phone as a non-business user!
Hello everyone,
I just ordered this phone - I do not have a business account. Originally the customer service rep told me that I was going to have to wait a few weeks for the phone to be released to the public. I told him I also run a business and looked into the prospect of switching my account over to a business account, the only thing holding me back was the 25% discount I get on my sprint service because I work for Home Depot. He told me I could get a 5% service discount if I signed up 5 lines. Then he thought about it, and said because I am part of the Home Depot corporate account I am allowed to purchase the ppc-6700!!!
I asked him details, and he said anyone who is eligible for a group discount through their place of business or otherwise would be eligible to purchase the phone. This means Best Buy, Circuit City, Home Depot, Lowes, mostly any large retail corporation.
Keep this in mind guys, and good luck getting your phone before the general release to the public!
