Has anyone figured out how to use SprintTV with the 6700? I have been able to do it.

Go to Windows Media player
Click on the icon on the bottom that looks like a little globe. It should take you to windowsmedia.com - mobile. There is an option to watch live TV.

You get a month free and then have to pay for the service. You can read about it at:

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks. I knew about that. But I was talking about Sprint TV. It is included as an option with some of the Power vision plans. The newer phones come with the software. I guess they didn't have it when this phone came out.

I was told that this phone can't view multimedia so the Sprint TV won't work. I was sold the Sprint TV option but couldn't figure it out. Called Sprint and they said they made a mistake selling me that package.

Spoke with Sprint yesterday AGAIN about other issues. They said you can't get Sprint TV but you can suscribe to a service that you can still view TV, Sports, Weather, etc. Not sure how much it is but you can look at demos from the phone. Click the globe while in Windows Media Player, then click Live TV.

Warning! You DO want one of the Sprint Power Vision services. This gives you UNLIMITTED DATA ACCESS (web, mail, etc). Without it we've heard horror stories of outrageous charges ($0.02/Kb??)

SprintTV is not yet avaiable for the 6700. I was told that it will be in the Future. When is the future? They couldn't tell me! I started out with the $20 PVision package to get more TV options, realized it was not avail, and then backed it down to $15 option just for the unlimitted data.

You can still view TV and other media through another service but like another thred said you are going to have to pay montly for it.

Good news just got this email from a sprint ecare. Sounds like the PPC 6700 will have the full Power Vision services. 😁

I understand that you want to use the Power Vision option to avail music and TV features.

I am sorry but as for now we are giving this service in Power Vision.
We have already received many feedback in this case and we have already sent it to our manufacturer so that they can include this in our Power Vision option for this phone.

I assure you that soon you will be able to avail this option on your phone. As for now I would not be able to give you the exact date but it will be within few days.

Have a good day.
