UTStarcom PPC-6700 / XV-6700 / HTC Apache
Just got the XV6700 Brochure at VZW store! See scans here!!!!
I was in the VZW store in NJ (Jersey City Newport Mall) today, and was looking around and picked up the latest brochure for PDA phones and Blackberrys and their services. Surprise to me! I discovered the XV6700 in it. I did a double take and was shocked. So I then asked the worker and he verified it will be in this week. WOooHOO! He also told me that it will be avail in store. That means no wait for business customers to get it first.

PS: I didnt see the Palm Treo 700W in it. I am a little baffled by that. Does this mean the 700W will be delayed?

Well, I can confirm the 5th is the release date for business customers, but then again I ordered mine this morning with overnight delivery by 3pm tomorrow.
As for consumer release, I don't know about this week. Nothing we have seen, INCLUDING internal Verizon documents say it will be released prior to 1/19. You might want to check your source on that one.

hehe. how did the guy look. I also work in that location and he was sadly mistaken. We cant sell them until the official release date.
