Converting data from Treo 650 to PPC-6700

I just lost my Treo 650, woe is me. Luckily, all of my data is backed up onto my laptop. I'm thinking of replacing it with the ppc-6700. since the Treo is a Palm based OS system and the PPc-6700 is Windows based, how difficult will it be for me to get my palm data loaded onto this windows pda?

I also went from a 650 to an XV-6700, no problem- both will sync with Outlook- or you can buy and install Styletap, and the 6700 will read and use most Palm programs as well.

Since I lost the handheld, I cannot use the sync method. All I have is a PC backup. After doing some research, I think I can purchse PocketCopy by Handango and it will convert my data w/o having to use the Treo 650 handset. I just hate to spend $19.99 for a one time application but oh well 🙂

Never saw a free trial offer. Yesterday, I broke down and purchased PocketCopy. I was extremely pleased. If I had used the Outlook option insted of the Palm Desktop on my Treo 650 to start with, I never would have had to make this purchase. My colleague told me from the very beginning to use Outlook but I stored personal data on my Treo and did not want it merged with my professional data. After using PocketCopy, it did merged the data but I have found several workarounds.
