how do I remove icons that no longer work?

I have removed a few programs that for whatever reason still have an icon on my 6700 (when I click Start, Programs). If I click on the icon I get an error message that the app is no longer there - but I don't see any way to remove the icon? Any ideas/solutions?

Thanks!
Jason

Well I don't have this phone, but I do have a Pocket PC.

While you have it connected to your PC in ActiveSync, you could click on the Explore button, then Click on My PocketPC, navigate to the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\ ... and clean up your dead shortcuts there.

You could also do this right on the phone using File Explorer and going to the same place.
