I too had the same problems with getting my gmail to work with the phone and if you contact gmail or sprint they are no help at all... to get it to work you set it all up like you would in outlook but when you are entering the Server Information 4/4 you have to put pop.gmail.com:995 then smtp.gmail.com:465 leave the domain blank... this will get it to work. also if you are having it check every 15 mins make sure its on your gmail account on your phone otherwise it wont check it... hopefully you get it working... ill keep checking if you have other questions..

on the user name dont have the @gmail part... also make sure in your gmail account at gmail.com you have pop enabled... and it normally wont receive emails that have been opened at the gmail site... other than that just follow my last page exactly and it should work because thats exactly how mine is set up and it works everytime...
