UTStarcom PPC-6700 / XV-6700 / HTC Apache
Lockups, Resets, and Hangs ... oh my ...RANT
I'm no stranger to PocketPC's ... I've had just about every IPAQ PPC model, before that several HPC's, and most recently an AXIM X50V.
I always wondered if the PocketPC (WIN CE) OS (currently called Windows Mobile) would be stable enough for a phone. So I am on day 3 with my VX6700 and I am wondering if my first three days hold the answer to that question. 👿
Periodically the unit will just completely hang during use ... sometimes I can hear key presses, but the screen doesn't change and it doesn't recover. RESET 🙄
This morning when I turned the unit on at 7:00am, all my 6:00am, and 6:15am wake up alarms went off. Come ON Microsoft this has been an issue for years!!! Yes I have all the hacks installed to try to reso...
