Ok I was thinking about buying this phone but had a few questions. I will not be using the unlimited data plan, i have no need for it, i want mainly the planner, bluetooth, camera, text. My question is about the wifi. I have a wireless router at my house that i use my laptop with. My question is can i use that wireless servcie in my house to connect this to the internet at no cost when i am at home? I saw in another thread there is a way to set the phone so the phone and wifi will work at the same time? is that correct. So basically i will just use it as a phone, but when i am at home i would like to hook up to the web at no cost through my exsisting wireless router and have the phone still receive calls and text while i am using that functio...

Yes this is quite possible. as you mentioned, you would need to do the registry hack to get the phone and wifi to be on at the same time, i use phm regedit and it works great. next i would suggest going into your connections manager and then go to the verizon connection. if you go through the different options you will see a spot for username and password. if you just put in a user name and no password then everytime it wants to connect to the verizon data service this box will pop up first asking for user name and password. since you didn't do a password you can hit okay to connect or cancel to not connect. i like this because if i accidently start to connect up to verizon, this will catch it before any billing starts. hope this help...

Well..I can connect to my home wireless no problem. I can ping the phone via it's IP over wireless just fine. The problem is I can not get internet explorer on the phone to use the wifi connection. The wireless connection is not listed in the listing of available connections. I went to Settings/Advanced/Select Networks and teh wireless adaptor is not listed under the drop down box for available networkswhere it says :

"Programs that automatically connect to the Internet sho...
