Using your program "File Explorer" locate and highlight the file or folder you wish to relocate. But ensure that your file or folder is located on "My Device" vs. "Storage Card" (top left of your screen). Then tap "Menu" (bottom right of your screen), "Edit", "Cut" (instead of Cut you can Copy, which will retain the file in program as a precaution should an accident occur in your transfer--however once you have completed the following instructions, go back and delete the original file in program). Tap top left of your screen and change to "Storage Card". You are now presented the list of folders and files resident to the storage card. as for installing software on the storage card, whenever you install any software it should ask you on the screen of your 6700 where you want to install ... Device or Storage.
Some programs HAVE to be installed in main memory to work ... those programs usually tell you during the install.
Some programs work fine when installed on the storage card, but run slower. Generally accessing the storage card and is slower than accessing main memory.
So you have to weigh your options on where you install something. If it is a program you use ALL the time, or something with a plugin on the Today screen you'll get better performance keeping things in main memory.
