UTStarcom PPC-6700 / XV-6700 / HTC Apache
New User, just got my phone today...couple of questions!

1) I have successfully setup the 6700 to download email. But I've got approx. 2,700 emails on said mail server. I only want to download emails that are new. Is there an easy way to do this?
2) Is there anyway to change the name entry for the email account. I accidentally typed the mail server there by accident.

So far it's pretty nice, feels more solid than I thought it would. They should have included a 2 cent screen protector though. Now i have to find the old sheets I had for the Palm.

- if you're using gmail, it has an option to download messages from this point forward, or all mail. if whatever mail service you're using has this option, then I think this is the way to go. otherwise, I don't think there is any other way.

- Nope, not in the built messaging client that comes with it. I had the same problem, and I just deleted and recreated the profile.
