Soft reset for verizon XV-6700
Hey can anyone tell me how one is suppose to do a soft reset. The only way I can get mine to turn off or reset is to pull the battery and it is getting to be a pain in the butt. Also has anyone installed magic button or gigabar. Both of these programs work great for about an hour then cause my phone to lock in a either a random program screen or most of the time the phone screen and I can not get them to go away with out pulling the battery. Any help or incite would be great. Thanks all.

To do a soft reset, you need look on the bottom of the phone where the data cable connects. To the left of that connector there is a inset button that you can stick the point of your stylus into to soft reset the phone.

I thought that was for reseting the phone to default settings. I don't want to do that. just being cautious are you sure that just reboots only? I have friend that has cingulars version of this phone and the powerbutton on the top reboots his.

According to my manual (Sprint) that is the soft reset button. After installing several pieces of software, it asks you to soft reset the PDA using that method.
