WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER 10

Okay, so I've been using my friend's computer to convert and copy audio/video files to my PPC. To do this I've been using Windows Media PLayer 10... Today, I got my new computer and downloaded Active Sync 4.1. It works perfectly. Then, I downloaded WMP10, and it works as well... However, the ONE thing it cannot do is find my 'Mobile Device'. Has anyone else had this problem? Are there any other programs I can use?

I have encountered the same problem cannot sync with WM10. You don't need the WM10 to copy files to your mobile with active sync running you can just browse device and then find were you want to put your files, SD card preferably, create a folder for music if you dont already have one. Then just drag and drop what you want to put on your mobile from your phone. You can still use WM10 to convert your CD's to MP3 or other programs like musicmatch (my favorite) or Itunes. **If you have a USB2.0 card reader if you remove the card and transfer that way it is MUCH quicker.** Once you have all the music on your card open your media player and update library and all your songs will be accessible right from your mobile media player.

Thanks for the info!! I actually figured it out, though. My PPC was 'connected' and not actually 'synced'...
