😢 OK..I have attempted to do all the various hacks out there to activate ms voice command from my bt headset. The main probem/question i have is that my voice command is not coming up under OEM, but instead it is under Voice command in my registry. Sooo, if someone can give me the easiest way to get this done, I would be forever in your debt.

as you all know. .i bought the 6700, and I am looking from some apps. So far i have two ... the reg. editor and the chat app. I here there is a way you can watch live tv and ... stream live radio... so far i have come across nothing... the tech on the phone said that there is cool stuff out there. 😕 but i can't seem to find it... could anyone help???????? 🤭 😢

I successfully set up and Earthlink account on my 6700. I wanted it to have a more appropriate account name (which cannot be modified once created). How do I delete this account? I have already set up a second account w/ a more appropriate name.

I had a really neat SmartList grocery store list set up on my Treao 650 as well as an automobile maintenance database. Can anyone recommend a compatible software package for the 6700?

I am able to listen to my music through my bluetooth headset although it is only monotone. I don't have any hacks, I just simply push the button on my headset while my music is playing. Now I am in need of stereo headphones that are also bluetooth. If this even exists can anyone tell me where to get them. Thank you in advance!!! 🤣 🤣

i cant seem to setup the pop acces for my gmail account. everytime i try to do a test , it just stays in the out box and wont send. im trying to set this up so that i can send pics and stuff from my phone can anyone help me. ive followed googles instructions i dunno how many times im outta steam on this please hlep 😢

ActiveSync, when synching MS Outlook (on the PC) contacts to Pocket Outlook contacts (on the phone) , does not synch the Contact fields "Followup Flag" and "Reminder Time".

(Yes, it does synch "Reminder Time" for Calendar events, but not for Contacts.)

Does anyone know what I can do/what I need to buy/ to get these fields in the Contact items on my phone?

I'm no stranger to PocketPC's ... I've had just about every IPAQ PPC model, before that several HPC's, and most recently an AXIM X50V.

I always wondered if the PocketPC (WIN CE) OS (currently called Windows Mobile) would be stable enough for a phone. So I am on day 3 with my VX6700 and I am wondering if my first three days hold the answer to that question. 👿

Periodically the unit will just completely hang during use ... sometimes I can hear key presses, but the screen doesn't change and it doesn't recover. RESET 🙄

A few people have suggested the dial skin blueskin.rar for people with big fingers like mine. With that being said i have downloaded the file which has an .rar extension. i don't know how to install it. can someone please help. grately appreciated, thanks.

If I am on my business LAN, I can simultaneously access my own Exchange 2003 account in Outlook 2003, as well as access someone else's account if I have the correct permissions. I do not need to log into the two accounts separately.

I would like to know if it is possible to use this phone to do the same thing, i.e., access my Exchange 2003 mailbox and another user's contacts, calendar, and email simultaneously.

I do not own the phone yet, so I cannot test on own to see if it is possible.

I just lost my Treo 650, woe is me. Luckily, all of my data is backed up onto my laptop. I'm thinking of replacing it with the ppc-6700. since the Treo is a Palm based OS system and the PPc-6700 is Windows based, how difficult will it be for me to get my palm data loaded onto this windows pda?

How come I cannot choose to install programs to my 1 gig MiniSD card? The options to install to the default folder is checked and grayed out... so I can't uncheck it.

Is this something particular to me or can you not install programs to storage cards in WM5?

So I got tired of waiting on missing sync to introduce the new software that will sync my pocket pc to my mac, so I went out and bought virtual pc. I installed outlook and active sync. When I put the phone on the dock to sync, it recognized new hardware in windows, but is saying that it encountered a problem and it may not work properly. When I check the device manager, the error says that this device cannot connect. How can I get this to work? Has anyone else used virtual pc to sync their pocket pc? 😢

When I sync or transfer my music files directly to the xv6700 I get an error message...corrupt file or license problem...

But if I burn the music to a CD and then use active sync to put it on the phone, it works fine...

I have the latest versions of the media player on my pc and xv6700...they say they are supposed to be compatible...what am I doing wrong?

I have noticed that when it goes directly from the pc to the xv6700 it transfers my music as a WMA file, not an MP3, I can't for the life of me figure out how to change the setting to make it sync as an MP3 file...

I sure would appreciate any help...

I have removed a few programs that for whatever reason still have an icon on my 6700 (when I click Start, Programs). If I click on the icon I get an error message that the app is no longer there - but I don't see any way to remove the icon? Any ideas/solutions?

I have i700 Samsung right now, it does not have EVDO support, so whenever i go on the Internet on the phone, it connect through a regular cellular line and this just uses my airtime, i do not get any data charges. Can you connect to the internet using regilar cellular line and NOT using their EVDO line on XV 6700?Is there an option to do that?

I am a big Blackberry fan and I think one of the coolest features on the BB is knowing that when I clip into my holster it automatically goes into quite mode. Any chance the 6700 does this? If not how do you guys keep it from having the phone ringing when it's in the holster?

I'm a gamer - first thing I had to do was install nester (nintendo emulator). You can imagine my dismay when I found out that I couldn't press two buttons next to the joystick at the same time. Is this a design flaw with the 6700? Has anyone else had this problem, and is there any fix for it?

I was wondering if anybody out there has had any issue with using different manufacture car charger for the XV6700. My blackberry 7250 has the same adaptor but no luck getting my device to charge, also picked one up from local Bestbuy still no luck may be because it was labeled for the PPC-6700 but I figured they where the same device. Which has worked for you?
