Availability to GSM or Cingular?

Does anyone know when/if Palm is making a GSM version of the phone for Cingular? I have a tough time with Verizon network in teh northeast whereas Cingular has no problems.

Please advise, I love what is being said about hte phone and want to enjoy it myself!

I beleive it's in testing at cingular... Verizon's exclusive is set to run out soon...

i was told by cingular manager today that cingular's version of this phone will be released in late March.
