Does anybody know if the Q has a maximum capacity for mini-SD?

If I recall correctly, when the v710 came out - the phone was limited to a 128 Mb trans-flash card (even though a 256 Mb was available)

Does anybody know if the Q has a maximum mini-SD capacity? I know there are 2Gb mini-SD cards out there - but I don't want to buy a 2Gb only to find out that the Q can't accept anything bigger than 1 Gb.

Thanks.

I'm not sure if this helps any, but I decided to purchase a 256 mb trans flash card for my v710 when I had it. It worked fine.

Right now it's at a max of 2 gig.... they are working towards doing 4 gig. I know.. That's HUGE!

wow - a 4Gb miniSD - it's unreal how small (and big) these things are getting!

I wound up going for the 1GB card.
Buy.com had a GREAT special last week (after rebate - got a Kingston 1GB with adapter for $24.99.

That should be big enough for a few months until these 4Gb ones come out, or the price drops on 2Gbs.

2gig should be fine, that's still using the FAT16 system used by 256/512/1gig/2gig cards.

The 4gig miniSD cards will likely not work unless the device has a firmware update to allow it to handle the new FAT32 based standard for SD/miniSD/microSD which will enable up to 32gig cards.
