v710 exchange fiasco
My deadline day is June 6. I fear if I buy the Q online on 31 May it will not make it in time to put the receipt in the return box.
I can buy another and and send the receipt in with the surrogate phone. Then do I simply return that phone to a store or do i have to send it back in the mail to get the Q?
When does the 15 day trial period start? Does it begin when I initiate the phone or on the expected receipt date?

the day you activate the new phone that you get in the mail
if your date is the 6th then I would order a phone that is the closest to the price you paid on your v710 and then goto a store on june 5th and do the swap

when you order a phone online is there a receipt you can print off at the time you order it? if there is why can't you put that in the v710 box and send it right away?

I think the reason for the wording is if you still own your v710 that if it said you needed to send it when you order the phone.. you would have no phone to use

I think I would prefer to send the 710 back with the order confirmation/receipt rather than go through the exchange routine.
On May 31 I'll order the q online and then send the 710 back that day with the online receipt for the q and a copy of the 710 receipt. Does anyone see any problem or hang up with this plan?

if you use the V710 exchange website to buy your new phone you don't need to send in the reciept for the new phone. Only time you need to send in the reciept for the new phone is if you purchase it from the verizon store or the b2b site.

I read the letter twice and could not find any place where it asks for reciepts of the new phone, please correct me if I am wrong.

I got the statement from the v710 exchange site. Its in subdued text at the bottom of the front page.

mine asks for it its on my claim form if I don't attach a receipt I get 200.00 back plain and simple but I shelled out 319.99 for my phone as long as I send my phone and reciept back I get my 319.99 back

i have been corresponding with the settlement administrator. I have been told 1) all deadlines are extended to received by them june 18 2) old phone receipt required to get more than 200$ back 3) new phone receipt also required unless replacement bought on their exchange website4) if new phone is less than old v710 you will get the lesser amount back so add accessories to new purchase to come up to old 710 + accessories price 5) all compatible accessories can be returned as long as there are receipts
