Motorola Q
Confused about Wifi mini sd card and a "regular" mini sd card??
Let me start off by saying that I am a 100% complete amateur when it comes to this stuff so if this is a stupid question I apologize. I think I kinda understand this but I just want to make sure. A wifi mini sd card will allow you to access the internet without having to buy a data plan correct?? But does a wifi mini sd card come with a certain amount of mb or gb? I see the "regular" mini sd cards come in mb or 1 or 2 gb but are not wifi correct?? Would I need to buy both if I want to store thing but also have access to the internet without having to buy a data plan and then just switch them back and forth depending on whatever it is I'm doing at the time??? Hopefully this question makes sense.
Thanks
2. a mini sd vifi card does not hold any storage what so ever. its just a wifi card that utilize the mini sd slot
3. yes you need a seperate mini sd memory card if you want to save stuff to a chip
you thoughts are pretty much right on with the rest of the stuff hope this helped
I may be wrong on this as well.
No one has confirmed that the MiniSD WiFi card will work in the Q. It should *fit* into the slot, but that doesn't mean it'll necessarily function. Plus, it might be "larger" than a standard MiniSD card and stick out the side.
Not that it matters much.
Hopefully it works, 'cause I'll be getting one then...

If this doesn't work, there will soon be one that does.
