Just got home with Q and the Voice Quality is a huge issue!
Drove 45 minutes tonight to Woodbridge NJ where the VZW store was happy to sell me a Q..
As you may know from my posts and reviews , I am very picky when it comes to Voice Quality. This has always been very important to me and my colleagues considering these things are phones and the conversation should be crystal clear. The features are secondary but important as well.
I spent many years with AT&T and we did lots of voice quality testing for all kinds of Broadband, IP phones and Voice over DSL which was somewhat invented in our lab in NJ. I do know what sounds good and bad.

I hear this all the time and then everyone agrees with my findings..
You've tested one and made an assumption that all the rest are exactly the same. They could be, or they could not be. At this point, you have no evidence of either, only conjecture.
Why don't you try another one and see? I'd love to hear your feedback then. Also, havne't hear dmuch from others with problems. Could be they aren't as picky, or thiers are doing better. Every single on of these are complex electronic machines with thousands of things that _could_ go wrong. Not that they should or we should put up with it.

I spoke with my guys in Data testing and they are having the same issues.
The voice quality is not great , Usable but not great..
Not even close to the Razr which I am not a fan of but its going to be a problem you will see.
MOST HAVE NO IDEA YOU ARE ON A CELL!
GET THE Q! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
I did however have the same problem you did with the SD slot protector. It took a while for me to pry that bad boy off.
