I know this forum is a big fan of Q phone, but I just went to try both the phones in the store and was quite disappointed to see the Q phone. The size is not the right to hold in hand, yes it is quite light in weight but the width is not right to hold in hand. When I tried to play the video link on window media player on Q phone, the picture was not moving and was stopping in every 5 second, because I guess the memory is not enough to play the live video ( through video streaming), the processor is not big enough to handle the application. Overall I am disappointed with Q.

On the other hand I was surprised to see the size of 6700, it is very nice to hold in hand and has 128 MB ( yes the weight is 6 oz compare to 4 oz of Q phone), video st...

I agree. I think I was really sold on WIFI out the box, and the keyboard. I was going to hold out for the Q, but the 6700 just has to many features and functions to ignore. The one thing that the Q has over the 6700 that I really want, is voice dialing....but I guess I can get Voice Command to fill that void.

How does the phone performance compare betwwen the Q and the 6700?

- Voice quality & volume?
- RF Reception?
- Speaker-phone?

I just got a Cingular 8125 and am not overly impressed with the phone performance, but the PDA features are fine.

Thanks!

Just thought that I would let you know, get the new software for the 6700 and you will have voice dialing. You can either download it from the website through active sync or take it in to a technician and have them put it on.

Does the voice dialing feature you are talking about from the software update require you to create voice tags or is it able to recongize all your contacts names as you speak them?

Until it started freezing. Then it became a nightmare. It was time for me to try the Q again (Verizon's ONLY phone with full bluetooth capabilities). I really did like the 6700, but I also like phones that don't freeze constantly and that don't require constant hard resets.
