I am lovin this phone. But, how do I get my contacts on it from my LG 8100 (and I am NOT paying verizon). I have MPT & Bitpim, but MPT doesn't recognize the Q. How can I export my contacts from Bitpim and get them on the Q.

Use MPT to synch with an empty Outlook Express contact list and then use Active Synch to get the data back to the Q.

I can't get MPT to recognize the Q, and my other phone isn't a motorola its an LG.
MPT says it doesn't support the Q phone yet. Is there another way people are doing it, or am I just not getting it.

I dont' know about where you live but I work for an authorized retailer and we don't charge for phone book transfers. If you tell me where you live I might be able to find one of our store in your area that will do it for free.

I live in Bakersfield Ca, the other phones i have had of late... the reps have charged 10 bucks for the transfer of contacts.
