Identity security issues with password?

Does anyone know if there are 3rd party applications that can beef up the security on the phone. I know the phone has a time out lock down. But I believe there should be a sub-password protection on sensitive information such as e-mails, texts and contacts. IE. You let someone borrow your phone to make a call and if they tried to look at your info it would be password protected. Any suggestion / thoughts??

Agreed.
This feature would be VERY useful.

I used to store many of my passwords on my palm and had them password protected.
I don't want to do this on the Q because I leave the phone unlocked for calls.

Looking forward to hearing about some 3rd party apps.

I have been checking all over the web for the last three days with no luck.

I contacted a couple of programmers from similar products seen on handango and no one seems to have what I'm talking about. Someone from splash data said that his software is what I'm looking for but when I e-mailed him back to ask if software password protects e-mails, text, contacts. There was no response. I think that if this thread generates some buzz maybe some programmer can jump on it!

This is obviously a feature that moto has forgotten about when/while designing this device. Motorola phones are known to have really good security features. does anyone have any contact information to anyone at moto?? ...to see if they understand the demand and importance of these features??
