Active Sync Error Message 85010014

Has anybody had this? After getting bounced from Verizon to Moto, from India to Argentina, it turns out that apparently it is a Microsoft Outlook issue - one of the files is missing that Active Sync talks to. I spent 2 hours on the phone with Microsoft and was told that I need to deinstall/reinstall Outlook with my original disk.

Anybody else?

Can I circumvent this with a wireless sync?

Eager to hear.

Thanks!

Had a simular problem with a palm 700w. Have you tried downloading the MS activesync 4.2 beta? worked like a champ with the 700w.

I had this exact problem the first time I tried to sync with ActiveSync 4.1. Here is what we did (me and Microsoft support):

Uninstall the partnership between ActiveSync and the Q. No need to remove ActiveSync.
Go to Add/Remove programs
Single click on Microsoft Office
Choose "Change"
Select Outlook
(this uninstalls Outlook, but keeps all of your settings and pst files - no worry!)
Choose "Change" again
Select Outlook to reinstall Outlook. Your CAB files are probably still on the computer and you won't need your disk.
Reinstall the device partnership and you should be able to sync.
