Volume Control & Vibrate

JimmyS

My phone ringer volume is very low. I've gone into the Audio Enhancement but it is very general and even the highest volume (5) is not too loud. I know some of you are thinking that my solution does not lie within the Q, but with and ear doctor.

I want my phone to vibrate first and then ring. How do I set that up? And is there a way to increase the volume of the alarm?

Are you SURE you're actually altering the phone volume? This phone IMO is actually pretty loud - especially if you're using the basic melody (non-mp3) ringtones.

BTW "audio enhancement" does NOT have volume controls.
To adjust the actual ringing volume: start-settings-PROFILES-(choose a profile to edit then hit right softkey "menu - edit". The third option down is ring volume.

you're welcome.
I only wish that Motorola had designed it so that you could have a different ringtone for each profile(my Nokia N90 does this).

I probably can just have to get right software and install it. There is nothing set in stone on this phone, thats what makes it so great. It's not quite a full blown PDA, but It is a lot more than a phone.
