Interface for IM'ing / Text Messages

I use AIM for instant messaging. On my Treo (650) when an IM is forwarded to the device as a text message it is put into an interface that looks like an IM. This way I could reply and have a near-real-time discussion with someone without clicking around. On the Q each message that is forwarded by AIM arrives as a separate text message that I have to click to open and reply to.
Any way to get the Q to display my IM's (from AIM) in an IM-like interface like on the Treo?
