Downloading Games etc..

I just picked up the Q yesterday and I see that it doesn't have the "Get it now" feature on it... not that I liked that or need it, BUT that's how I downloaded games... is there any trusted website where i can get games from that will run on the Q... I'm looking for tetris in particular... thanks in advance..

google for "smartphone" and "kevtris", that's what I'm using. BUT, be prepared to only use half the screen because of the different resolution.

Give it time, the Q just came out and it has a totally different combination of resolution/orientation for the smartphone. You won't find a lot of games that will work with it completely just yet.

Our Q's have a 320x240 (qvga) LANDSCAPE screen. Just a few games that are out are just beginning to support qvga but they're all PORTRAIT (think of your Q screen on it's side).

IT seems like a lot of developers didn't expect the Q to be so popular and now that they're seeing it they're just now getting off their collective butts to cash in by converting their software.

Actually I don't plan to use "rip-me-now" for games and apps. W/ your Q attached to a pc w/ activesync (its on one of the cd's that came with your Q).

You then just download game/app installer onto your computer and double click while you are connected with the Q and follow the wizard instructions.

OR the program/game will have a file that ends in .cab. You can then transfer the .cab file to your phone while connected (look at the activesync window and click "explore" to browse the phones file structure for a place to paste the file). Then from the phone, click on the .cab file in file manager and follow the install instructions.
