Video and Pics on the Q...

So I'm about to finally get this phone but then I was fiddling with it at the verizon store and noticed the pics and video are so small. It doesn't take up the whole screen like other phones. Is it supposed to be that way or are there options to change that?

menu options allow for full screen display during playback.

The screen is excellent so far.
