3rd party email replacement for Pocket Outlook?

Well, as a long time Blackberry user, I have a hard time when people ask me if my new Q is better than my Blackberry. All around? Yes. Email? No.
But someone HAS TO write an improved email client for the Q that does all the things we loved our Blackberries for: multiple message marking (as read), searching for senders or text in all emails, Auto correct, periods when 2 spaces entered, etc, etc.
(I need it to support IMAP to get my work email; I know there are some 3rd party POP clients.)
Anybody seen anything?
Thanks,
Rick

I have a BB 8700 for work and you can't beat that for email. Q doesn't even come close.

Have you tried GoodLink? Works great for me.

Thanks for your comment. My company uses Goodlink to support executives on another Smartphone - not the Q. Isn't it necessary to use this Goodlink server for access to Exchange? Is Goodlink a different email client on the Q? Or does it use the standard Pocket Outlook?
Thanks,
Rick

If you're already set up with a Gooklink server, all you have to do is purchase a license for the Q and OTA the software to it. Goodlink (for the most part) handles everything you would use active sync for relative to Outlook functions (inbox, sent items, deleted items, calendar, tasks and contacts. I prefer using GL as the active sync doesn't sync the sent and deleted items. I DO still use active sync in addition to GL for contacts and calendar from Exchange so the Q knows my meeting schedule and applies the meeting profile to the sounds and I can use contact photos for incoming calls (neither of which are supported by GL). It's overkill to an extent, but I like those features.
