THE Q AND GMAIL SOLUTION!
After being very frustrated with the device over the last 10 days because of GMAIL issues, I have finally solved the problem. Gmail, for some reason, will not remain set on "download all mail since x date", but rather will automatically shift itself to "download all mail since y current time" by itself after multiple downloads by the Q. Again, this is a GMAIL issue, not a Q issue!
Maybe this is a GMAIL glitch that will be corrected someday, but for now if you access directly thru pop@gmail, you will lose all mail on your Q once the Q downloads and finds no new mail since last download, perhaps even 15 minutes earlier.
To solve this, you need to set up a relay email, preferably thru your ISP, such as optimum online or roadrunner, and ...

So that would explain why I do not have the Gmail issue everyone is talking about. I have been forwarding all my Gmail to my yahoo account for a long time now. I added my Gmail to my Q and never once had a problem with the email disappearing. Guess that is the reason why and I never really thought about that it was because I was sending a copy of my Gmail to Yahoo. I would hit S&R on my Q and the mail would still be there.
