Q reception
I have noticed the reception on the Q is not near as good as the E815 or the Razr. I am sitting in my home office and the E815 has 4 bars and the Q has none to one. It has been like this for the 2 weeks I've owned it. Anyone else having the same problem?

Same problem. Most bars I've ever had was 3. And that was for about 10 min. Very disappointing.

I've had great reception, certainly comparable to my old E815

I live in a marginal area for service. I usually get no bars sometimes it goes to 2 bars, but I do get fairly good reception with the phone regardless of the number of bars here. I'm assuming it will get even better when the complete the Verizon Wireless switch that is being built about a mile from my house and they replace the temporary tower with a permanent one.

I think a mistake that many people make is in thinking that the "bars" represent some standard scientific measurement of signal strength.
You cannot compare the number of bars between one phone and another, even with the same carrier and/or manufacturer; it could just be that the Q is "stingier" with determining what signal strength it decides is worthy of 4 bars.
